Prayers and Puking

I woke up this morning to bright blue eyes and three-day-old pigtails. I slept on the couch last night because I was up all night puking...for the second night in a row. Jenalyn was hovering over me as I woke up. She said the sweetest words I've ever heard. "I prayed for you mommy. That you would feel better and not be sick anymore."

*sigh*

My daughter prayed for me. Unprompted. She said a prayer. By herself. Prayed that her mommy would feel better. I've never felt more full.

Oh, that is so sweet. Josh prayed for me everyday during my pregnancy. There is nothing more powerful than a child's prayers. You are in my prayers too. Take care.

She is such a loving little girl. That she realizes the power of prayer is awesome. I hope that you get feeling better soon.

so sweet. It is moments like this that let you know that you are doing SOMETHING right. Doesn't that feel good to be reminded of every once in a while.

I really think that Jena-bug is a little ancient spirit, trapped in a 6 year olds body! She is such a sweet heart! I love this little story!

Love Jenalyn! She is so thoughtful. She is always surprising me with the comments she makes in primary. I know she loves her mommy very much!
