There are just a couple weeks left of school. Jenalyn's class had a little performance last week. They did a play called "
Momotaro" (Peach Boy) and they sang some songs that they've learned throughout the year, and then they did a beautiful fan dance.
Unfortunately, my camera ran out of batteries just minutes into the performance, so I had to rely on my iPhone after that.
Here is a picture of Jenalyn with her friend Alyssa in their Kimonos:

Here is a short video of the Momotaro play (it's all I got before my camera gave up on me).
In case you can't tell, Jenalyn is in the middle, on one knee.

So COOL! Jena-bug you're my stinkin' hero! I love hearing you perform everything you learn at school!
Cari, you need to start charging you camera battery before these things! ;)
Wow! You mentioned her school teach half Japanese and half English, but from what I see in the video, that's 100% Japanese! The play and the story (PERFECT pronunciation) and the whole costume thing made me wish there were such school here! Super cool!! Maybe Josh and Jana can carry a conversation in Japanese!?
Love it. She seems to speak Japanese pretty well.
