I love my Beehives

I sometimes complain about my calling and I sometimes get burned out and feel uninspired. Like today I totally didn't feel like teaching. But I sucked it up and did it anyway. I set up my class room and when my girls walked in Katie said, "I'm so glad you're here! I LOVE YOU!" *awe* way to make an old girl feel special! I stayed home sick last week and they all got stuffed into a small room with the MiaMaids. She said she felt claustrophobic - so maybe it wasn't so much that she missed me, maybe she was just glad they didn't have to join the MiaMaids again.

So I taught my lesson. My girls were responsive and interactive, which is always nice. After I was done and they were leaving Naomi said, "Thank you. I really enjoyed that lesson." *sosweet* that makes it all worth it. That was exactly what I needed today! I just LOVE my girls (I taught these girls when they were CTR 7). I've had this calling for 4 years now - I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it *lol*

Date night

We actually had a date night last night :) 'tho we spent the night IN - it was still so nice!

I crashed on the couch at about 6:00 (lazy I know - but it felt SO good). Jason got dinner for the kids. When I woke up I was like "Hey, what about us?" and he said he ordered take-out and was going to go get it after the kids were in bed. So we put the kids to bed a little early (7:30) and ate our dinner by candlelight *awe* after that we cuddled on the couch and watched a movie - I even got to pick: In the Land of Women. It was a good show, I cried and laughed - perfect!

See, my hubs can still be romantic...sometimes!

The new teddy bear

This morning Jenalyn found a "new" teddy bear in an old bin of toys. She brought it in to me and pronounced that his name is "Grampa Jerry" *lol* I giggled! How sweet!

Then she brought in a puppy from the same bin and named him "Tootsie" I assume he's named after the Saxman's dog :)

Hide'n Seek

I think every one should have a chance to play hide-and-seek with Jenalyn! It's the most fun you can legally have - truly! We were playing the other day and it was her turn to hide. So I covered my eyes and counted to 10 then yelled "ready or not here I come!" and started my search. I walked down the hall and said loudly, "where could Jenalyn be?" then I hear *gigglegiggle* I'm in the bathroom" *gigglegiggle* LOL how funny! So then it's my turn to hide and she counts to 10. I'm hiding in the laundry room and she's walking all over the house, "where's mommy? Is she in the fridge? Is she under the sink? Is she hiding under the rug?" Oh MAN - this makes me giggle uncontrollably so of course she found me!

Oh wow - having a girl is the BEST!
